Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Range Rivals, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Range Rivals. By using the app you confirm that you are, and that you may lawfully use firearms where you train.
Description of service
Range Rivals is a training and competition app for shooting sports. It scores drills you run, keeps a log of the guns you train with, and lets you take part in leaderboards, weekly challenges, competitions, range sessions, and teams. Some features are free and some are included in paid subscriptions, as described in the app.
Accounts
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. One person, one account: you may not create accounts for others or share an account.
Subscriptions and billing
Range Rivals offers paid Pro and Ultra subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly. Current prices and what each plan includes are shown in the app before you buy.
- Free trial. New subscribers may receive a free trial, currently 14 days. One trial per customer. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and you are charged for the first period.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep your paid features until then. Web subscriptions are managed from Account in the web dashboard. Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play are managed, and cancelled, through Apple or Google.
- Refunds. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable and we do not give refunds or credits for partial billing periods. Refunds for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are decided by Apple or Google under their policies.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails we will retry it for a short grace period. If it still fails, your account returns to the free plan.
- Changing plans. You may upgrade or downgrade at any time. If a downgrade leaves you over a limit of your new plan (for example, more teams than the plan allows), the app will ask you to choose what to keep, with a grace period before it decides for you. Content you have already published stays published.
- Price changes. We may change prices. We will give you notice before a change applies to a subscription you already have, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
- Promotions. Promotional codes and offers have their own stated conditions and may be limited to one per customer.
Your content
You own the training data, videos, stages, drills, and other content you add to Range Rivals. By adding it, you grant us the rights needed to store, process, and display that content so the service can function, including showing your results and published content to other members as described in our Privacy Policy. When you publish a stage or drill to the community, other members may run and share it; that permission continues for copies already in use even if you later unpublish it. We do not use your content for any purpose beyond operating and improving the app.
Community rules
Range Rivals is a shared space. You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, or abuse other members, or post hateful or unlawful content;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity, classification, or equipment;
- submit false, altered, or misattributed scores, times, or videos, or otherwise cheat in challenges, competitions, or leaderboards;
- upload content that shows unsafe gun handling, unlawful activity, or anyone who has not agreed to appear;
- attempt to disrupt the service, gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems, scrape data, or abuse the infrastructure the app runs on.
Members can report teams and community stages in the app, and can ask us to block another member. We review reports and may remove content, disqualify results, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion.
Competitions and challenges
Entry to competitions and weekly challenges is free. Each competition or challenge has its own rules shown in the app, including scoring, divisions, attempt limits, deadlines, and any video requirements. Organizers and reviewers may verify entries, request proof, reject or disqualify entries that do not follow the rules, and correct scoring errors. Where prizes are offered, the prize terms shown with that competition apply and any prize is subject to eligibility under the laws that apply to you. Results and rankings may be adjusted after publication to correct errors or rule violations.
Safety and the law
Range Rivals is a scoring and record-keeping tool. It is not firearms training, safety instruction, or legal advice, and it does not ensure compliance with any law. You are solely responsible for handling firearms safely, following the rules of the range you use, and complying with all federal, state, and local laws that apply to the ownership, transport, and use of firearms and ammunition where you are. Never let a drill, timer, or leaderboard take priority over safety.
Disclaimer of warranties
Range Rivals is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that scores and rankings will be free of mistakes, or that your data will never be lost.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Range Rivals, including loss of data, loss of records, or any injury or loss connected with your shooting activities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
You may stop using Range Rivals at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access to the service for anyone who violates these terms or misuses the app. Paid subscriptions are not refunded on termination for a violation.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
